Project Executive – Raleigh
Position Overview: As a Project Executive you’ll lead our Raleigh division (Eastern NC & Southern VA), managing a team that delivers over $35m+ in commercial concrete construction projects, responsible for estimation, financials, project delivery, and divisional growth. Your role involves managing personnel, overseeing performance, and strategically expanding our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Divisional Management:
- Lead daily operations, ensuring the efficiency of project delivery and estimators.
- Manage team & projects to minimize investment in working capital, including net billings and retainage to meet gross margin goals.
- Optimize staffing levels and provide comprehensive training for division personnel.
- Drive P&L management, overseeing budgets, costs, contracts, and equipment.
- Build a culture that strongly promotes safety on all levels.
- Proactively address customer concerns, ensuring swift and satisfactory resolutions.
- Develop and implement strategies to exceed profit expectations and enhance divisional performance.
Estimation and Project Oversight:
- Ensure projects meet profit targets, are delivered on schedule, and meet quality standards.
- Proficiently interpret construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates for accurate project assessments.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, ensuring sustained business growth.
- Track and manage the timely review of project contracts to minimize risk and financial exposure of the division and the company.
Financial Management and Administration:
- Implement cost-effective measures, achieving budgetary goals while enhancing operational efficiency.
- Regularly monitor project managers and projects for financial performance, tracking and cost/budget projections.
Scheduling, Documentation, and Safety:
- Efficiently manage project schedules, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Supervise internal labor and subcontractors to ensure optimal productivity.
- Facilitate timely acquisition of project approvals and documentation.
- Champion job safety measures, collaborating with the Safety Manager to enforce safety protocols.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent; an Associate’s degree with relevant experience is acceptable.
- 10+ years of progressive construction management experience, preferably from a subcontractor’s perspective.
- Expertise in concrete construction, particularly in post-tension, foundations, vertical and elevated construction.
- Proven track record in successful divisional management, emphasizing cost control, scheduling, safety, and quality.
- Exceptional communication skills to foster robust relationships with employees, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project, and familiarity with construction software i.e. PlanSwift, Procore, Bluebeam.

Project Accountant – Charlotte
The Commercial Division-Project Accountant is a full-time position that will be responsible for all aspects of project accounting. This includes project budgeting, revenue tracking, and project cost accounting. You will work with project cost estimating software, setting up project phases and project budgets, and work with the project management team on the timely input and reporting of project information. You will be tracking costs in a job cost database, providing accurate weekly reporting to project management, reconciling to budget, preparing payment draw schedules, and updating budget/current costs.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have project accounting experience including all phases and aspects of project accounting. Experience with the construction industry is preferred, but not required. The ability to work with all employees throughout the company is required.
Duties to include, but are not limited to the following:
Project Accounting
- Manages all project accounting functions.
- Enters project budgets into job cost database, tracks and updates budgets for approved change orders
- Processes all draw submissions and maintains files
- Oversees the payment to contractors and suppliers when construction draws are funded.
- Assist in accounts payable function for the construction projects. Ensures all subcontractors and vendors meet all requirements of contract agreement prior to any payouts.
- Creates all monthly job cost reconciliations.
- Works with the manager to complete the monthly accounting close process.
Information Management
- Works with the project team on processing all transactions on a timely basis, and manages the reporting process to ensure accurate, weekly reports are sent to the project team to effectively manage projects.
- Timely preparation, review and distribution of all monthly financial reporting packages.
- Works with the project team to resolve all accounting and reporting related project issues.
- Prepares job cost and transaction reports, and analyzes and assists management in cost control measures.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in accounting for construction projects.
- Experience working with Division Managers, Senior Project Managers and Line Project Managers.
- Experience in accounting procedures, internal controls and database management.
- Proven experience with lien waivers, accounts payable applications, funding requests, cash flow analysis, and account reconciliations.
- Knowledge and understanding of project cost structure, job cost, and construction processes, and be able to apply this information to cost code invoices and effectively track project costs.
- Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously, highly organized and thorough in completion of tasks. Strong work ethic, self-starter, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires prioritizing and performing with a high degree of accuracy while under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Superintendent – Raleigh or Atlanta

Assistant Superintendent – Raleigh or Atlanta
Duties to include, but not limited to the following:
· Reporting to Senior Project Managers on job specific details.
. Understanding full scope of work for each project
· Manage all business aspects of multiple concurrent projects and ensure financial targets are met while maintaining established quality standards
· Manage all activities associated with production including labor, materials, equipment and services
· Manage the work load accurately as related to the contracted scope of work
· Manage subcontract labor and inhouse crews.

· Purchases and track quantities of supplied materials to all projects

Desired Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, the Assistant Field Manager will possess:
· 1+ years construction experience from a subcontractor’s perspective. Concrete construction management experience is a plus.
· Experienced managing multiple projects at one time
· Proven track record in the successful management of project cost, schedule, safety and quality
· Superior communication skills. Able to work effectively and develop strong working relationships with vendors and clients
· Must be able to speak English.

Concrete Laborer
As a General Concrete Construction Laborer, you will be a vital member of our construction team, engaging in physical labor to build, set, and repair concrete structures. This role requires physical strength, stamina, and a keen attention to safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up and preparing construction sites as directed.
- Operate tools and machinery for concrete preparation, mixing, pouring, and finishing.
- Transport and handling various construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient work progress.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and implement construction plans effectively.

Concrete Construction Wall Forms Laborer
As a Concrete Construction Wall Forms Laborer, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects by assisting with the placing and removal of wall forms for concrete structures. This position requires precision, endurance, and a strong commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine the specifications and appropriate setup of forms.
- Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
- Set up and secure steel forms that hold concrete in place while it sets.
- Inspect and prepare work sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
- Assist in mixing, pouring, and spreading concrete as needed.
- Dismantle and clean forms after use and store them properly.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company guidelines at all times, attending all required safety training and meetings.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; additional certification in trade school or relevant field is a plus.
